You already know where this is going. If ya’ll haven’t seen K Pop Demon Hunters yet I HIGHLY suggest you do. K Pop Demon Hunters is streaming on Netflix (and if you don’t have Netflix I’m sure you can find another place to watch it). This movie has taken the internet by storm. I mean like a hurricane! Since I saw it, I’d figure I’d write about it. Nothing too drastic or dramatic, just something I’d figure I’d jot down and give my quick two cents on.
I saw it the other night with the family and I did not think it was going to be this good. Boy was I wrong. The animations, the music, the singing, the story line were all mesmerizing. And quite frankly, as an adult, I really do not care that I enjoyed watching the movie and singing along to the songs. It’s a much-needed break from all the negativity in the world that’s going on right now. Yes, there’s still important issues to deal with, with real world events and consequences happening, but it’s nice to take a break and relax from all the drama. It’s also nice to see the kids laughing and enjoying themselves with some good clean fun. Now I will agree there is an absolute out of control obsession with movies like these and with people who take it to the absolute extreme level, but for the most part we can keep it under control. I don’t plan to go much further with it except to listen to the soundtrack while I’m at work.
One of the main reasons I really enjoyed this movie was because it’s something positive and uplifting for the kids and adults to enjoy together. There are no hidden messages or secretive motives hidden that try to harm kids or warp their minds. Just a battle between good and evil and the battle with yourself. And in the end, good wins. There’s a big deep message that we could dive into about, but honestly, I’ll save that for another time. I just wanted to write a quick blurb about it. And with that, I leave you with Golden! I hope it stays stuck in your head!
